Incredibly attached to 'Black Panther' character: Ryan Coogler

Los Angeles: Director Ryan Coogler, who is helming the upcoming "Black Panther" film, has said that he feels "incredibly attached" to Marvel's superhero character. The film stars Chadwick Boseman in the titular role and also feature actors Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis among others.

"He's so different from what I am used to. But through the process of making the film and working with Chad and trying to explore and find ownership in it, I'm incredibly attached to this character now," Coogler told Deadline. 


"In our film, you find him at a time where he lost his father, the most important person in his life. He's inheriting this incredible responsibility," he added.
