Sangrur: Mother of Kareena Kapoor in Salman Khan’s bollywood hit Bajranji Bhaijan, Alka Kaushal awarded the sentence for two years jail in connection with check bounce case in Sangrur.

Alka Kaushal is a well-known name in the TV world. She has also played many roles in Hindi films. The small role of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan made him famous. She has worked in serials like ‘KumKum ek pyara sa Bandhan’ and Qubool hai. She is the daughter of famous theater actor Vishwamohan Badola. She has been sentenced to two years in jail by a District Court in Punjab. The case is of check bounce. Alka’s mother too has been accused.

According to information, Alka and her mother had taken Rs 50 lakh from Avtar Singh. The money was taken with promise of making a serial. When Avtar asked for his money, Alka gave two checks of Rs 25 lakhs. They were bounced in the bank. After this, Avtar lodged a case against Alka and his mother.

It is being said that this matter is from 2015. Then they were sentenced to two years by the Malerkotla court. Actress appealed against this to the Sangrur Court. There she got sentenced to two years of imprisonment. Currently, Alka and her mother are in jail in Sangrur district.
