“Inquiry” – A Bold Punjabi Web Series That Will Unravel The Layers Of Addiction And Truth News
Chandigarh, 03 September 2025: – Inspired by the “Yuddh Nashiyan Viruddh” campaign being run by the Punjab State Government across the state, Hasrat Records has announced its much-awaited Punjabi web series “Inquiry”. It is a powerful social drama that brings forth friendship, the dark world of addiction and the battle for humanity.
Dr. Sukhtej Sahni, while shedding light on the idea and objective of the web series, said that he himself has done the story, concept and production of this series. He is a psychiatrist, writer and producer by profession and is running a drug de-addiction center in Mohali. Along with him, Dr. Satinder Cheema and Anusandip Burmi are the producers and it is directed by Neeraj Libra.
Giving information about the starcast of the web series, Neeraj Libra said that the lead roles in the “Inquiry” series are Abhimanyu Kamboj, Babbar Khan, Amritpal Billa, Sunita Sharma, Sonu Rock and many other actors. He told that veteran actors Mahavir Bhullar and Arsh Gill will also be seen in the upcoming episodes of the web series.
Two actors in the web series, Amritpal Billa, have already shown their acting skills in Punjabi films "Jadddi Sardar" and "Jatt Te Juliet 1 and 2". At the same time, Babar Khan has worked in Shahid Kapoor's movie "Jersey" and "Khadpanch".
Giving information about the release of the series, the producer of the series, Dr. Sukhtej Sahni said that the series has 8 episodes and its first episode will be released on 7 September 2025 only on the official YouTube channel of Hasrat Records.
Why "Inquiry"? While answering the question asked, he said that this is not just entertainment, but an effort to start a conversation on the problem of drug addiction in the society and spread awareness. With a thrilling story, this series will force the audience to think.
