"Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh," a new film starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, which was released on April 18, 2025, has already been leaked online and is available on several pirated movie sites in various quality formats, The Times Entertainment reported.
The film is a sequel to Kesari, which focused on the Battle of Saragarhi. Kesari 2 is a historical courtroom drama that delves into the life of C. Sankaran Nair, a prominent lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, who bravely challenged the British Empire in the aftermath of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
The leak came despite Akshay Kumar’s appeal to fans, urging them not to use their phones while watching the film.
During a media event, he said,“I humbly request you all to please keep your phones in your pockets and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will mean a lot. If you check your Instagram during the movie, it will be a humiliation for the film. So I request everyone to keep their phones away.”
The veteran actor also requested viewers at the film’s screening not to miss the first ten minutes, emphasizing its importance to the story.
