He sought an urgent hearing before Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna. However, CJI Khanna refused to reschedule the hearing, stating, "We have already given a date of listing. No oral mentioning, please!"

He also sought anticipatory bail, fearing arrest by the Guwahati police. Appearing before the CJI through his lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud, son of former CJI D.Y. Chandrachud, Allahbadia sought legal protection

Allahbadia, the creator of BeerBiceps, landed in controversy after making a crass remark on the show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina. Several other panelists and guests who appeared on the show are also under police scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as Rebel Kid, and the only female panelist on the show, has been receiving rape and death threats on her social media handles.
