The slap incident in Bigg Boss 17 happened when Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya were engaged in a war of words while the latter dragged his parents and mental health into their argument. It was then when Abhishek lost his calm when Samarth continued to take a dig at him besides putting a tissue in his mouth. In a fit of rage, Abhishek slapped Samarth and left everyone shocked.

Later, Ankita Lokhande was reportedly given the special power to determine Abhishek's fate in the show. As per The Khabri, Abhishek got eliminated from the Bigg Boss 17 house as the 'captain' of the house Ankita decided to evict him for slapping Samarth Jurel. While there has been no official confirmation about the same, social media has been flooded with tweets supporting Abhishek. Likewise, 'Nation supports Abhishek' has been trending on 'X' as netizens have been slamming Isha for her behavior with Abhishek Kumar.

Later, Bigg Boss left the decision to Shiv Thakare, who decided to eliminate her from the game. However, Salman Khan brought Archana back and said it was a pre-planned strategy to provoke her and get her evicted from the house.
