Punjab Weather Update: Orange Alert Over Punjab For July 24; Here's What IMD said

the IMD had issued an orange alert in Punjab for today i.e. July 23 as well.  


Punjab Weather Update, IMD Forecast Orange Alert Latest News Today: As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), some areas in Punjab are expected to witness heavy rains with IMD issuing an orange alert in Punjab on July 24, 2024 i.e Wednesday. 

Similarly, the IMD had issued an orange alert in Punjab for today i.e. July 23 as well.

For July 24, Hoshiarpur and Pathankot have been issued an alert of very high rain accompanied with thunderstorms and lightning. Likewise, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Rupanagar, SAS Nagar, Bathinda and Mansa are also expected to receive heavy rainfall on July 24 and 25. 

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are no alerts over Punjab on 26 and 27 July 2024, means there will be no rain on both days. 

Today's weather forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 34°C and a minimum of 32°C. There is a slight chance of precipitation at 70%. Humidity levels are expected to be around 57%.
