Group Admin will decide that whether a person can join a group or not
NEW-DELHI: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced two new updates for 'Groups' on WhatsApp, including new controls for admins and easy access to know which groups users have in common with someone. WhatsApp had launched a feature called Communities a few days ago, in which it has become possible to create larger and more discussion groups.
The Company said, "Last year, we launched Communities to help people get more out of their groups. After its launch we wanted to create more tools for admins and users."
It added, "We're excited to announce the changes we've made to make the group more manageable for admins and to make navigation easier for everyone."
The Group Admin will decide that whether a person can join a group or not. The important element of this tool is privacy as for those groups where people have some of their most intimate conversations. Admins will be able to decide easily who can be a member and who cannot come in the chat box.
