New Delhi: A trial court on Saturday convicted businessman Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Surinder Koli of murdering a 20-year-old woman, one of the several cases known as the Nithari serial killings of 2006.

Seven cops thrashed by Army personnel in Kashmir, case filed
Srinagar: Seven policemen were injured in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district today when they were allegedly thrashed by Army personnel at a checkpost, police said. Police have filed a case against the Army personnel, an official said, adding that records kept at a police station were also damaged.
