Militant killed as Army foils infiltration bid
Srinagar: A militant was today killed as the Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Troops guarding the LoC noticed suspicious movement along the LoC and immediately challenged the intruders.

Nurpur: The Nurpur police arrested Rekha Devi (24), wife of Amar Singh (32) of Badroot (Gangath) village, last evening, for allegedly murdering her husband.She was produced in the court and remanded in police custody for three days.
