CM announces Rs 1 lakh reward for info on snatchers
Chandigarh: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced that a reward of Rs 1 lakh would be given to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of purse and chain snatchers in the state. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Police Department.
Special force formed to tighten noose on criminals
Chandigarh: The police have constituted a special state-level task force to tighten the noose on wanted criminals, including serial killers and those indulging in organised crimes like drug trafficking, extortion and contract killing.

Seventh batch of 3,389 pilgrims leaves for Amarnath
