Temp in Himachal dips due to rain
After fresh rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, minimum temperature in Shimla and Manali decreased by 8 degree Celsius. As per the data available with the Indian meteorological department’s Centre at Shimla, during past 24 hours capital town Shimla recorded a minimum at 11.6 celsius and maximum here was recorded at 22.5 degree Celsius, whereas the tourist resort Manali recorded minimum temperature at 8.2 degree Celsius lowest in the state and the Kalpa in Kinnaur recorded at 8.4 degree minimum temperature in the state

NCB arrests Nigerian with drugs worth over Rs 3.5 crore
Vadodara: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths today arrested a Nigerian national in possession of drugs including amphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy tablets with street value of over Rs 3.5 crore in the international market. In an operation carried out on Delhi-Goa Rajdhani Express after it halted at Vadodara railway station today, the NCB sleuths arrested Peter Chinedu Okafor with 843 gram amphetamine, 255 gram cocaine, and 65 gram ecstasy tablets from his possession, NCB Zonal Director Hariom Gandhi said.

Husband-wife commit suicide in Alwar
Jaipur: An ex-serviceman and his wife allegedly committed suicide in Alwar district of Rajasthan with the police suspecting that the couple consumed poison. Rajendra Sharma along with his wife Sushila Devi (48) were found unconscious at their house last night in Reni area of the district. Wrapping of a poisonous substance was found near the body, police said.
