No SC relief for Setalvad in illegal exhumation of bodies case
Social activist Teesta Setalvad today failed to get any relief from the Supreme Court in a case in which she is accused of having a role in the illegal exhumation of bodies of some victims of the 2002 Gujarat riots. The apex court said it would not be necessary to adjudicate on merits the plea filed by her against the Gujarat High Court order refusing to quash the FIR lodged against her at a police station in Panchmahal district regarding exhumation of the bodies from a graveyard near river Panam

Mumbai: Online shopping platform Paytm Mall is set to hire nearly 2,000 new personnel across various business and tech roles to effectively scale its operations. The shopping platform is under the wing of Paytm Ecommerce, a recently incorporated separate entity by the parent company One97 Communications, to address the potential in online commerce, Paytm said in a statement here.
Mehbooba inaugurates several key projects in Jammu

1,104 licences suspended for traffic violation
Shimla: To check road accidents, the traffic regulator has suspended 1,104 driving licences of traffic rules violators, while the PWD has rectified over 200 accident-prone “black spots”. The PWD has decided to conduct audit of road safety and all road projects, whose cost exceeds Rs 10 crore, must provide 0.25 per cent funds for the road safely measures.
