Rain triggers landslides, 140 link roads blocked
Shimla: Normal life was thrown out of gear as heavy to very heavy rain lashed several parts of the state, triggering landslides at many places and more than 140 link roads were closed to traffic in Shimla, Mandi, Kullu and Kangra districts.
Communal flare-up after Chamba ‘rape’

Four cash logistics firm staff held for Rs 2-cr theft
Karnal: The police have arrested four employees of a cash-supply company for stealing money from ATMs. The accused have stolen nearly Rs 2 crore. The accused have been identified as Mandeep Singh of Nigdhu village in the district, and Parveen of New Moti Nagar, Charanjeet of Ramnagar, and Munish of Gandhi Nagar in the city.
