Now, braid cutting incidents reported in Karnal, Panipat
Karnal: The first case of braid cutting was reported in Newal village of the district today. Harbhajan Kaur, a class IX student, found her braid chopped off when she woke up in the morning. Family members filed a complaint with the police. The police will take help from the CCTV cameras installed in the village.

JK police to ask Pak High Commission to take militant's body
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police will approach the Pakistan High Commission via the Union home ministry to take the body of Abu Dujana, the Lashkar-e-Taiba commander gunned down in south Kashmir, a senior police official said today. It will be the first time that the Pakistan High Commission is asked to claim the body of a militant killed in Kashmir Valley.

Srinagar: A civilian who received pellet injuries near an encounter site in south Kashmir's Pulwama district yesterday, died this morning, police said. Akeel Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Gabarpora area of the district, was injured in the abdomen during security forces action on protesters at Hakripora yesterday, a police official said.

Bomb scare at Delhi airport
New Delhi: Bomb squads and canine teams were today rushed in to check a suspected object that was recovered at the cargo hold area of the Delhi airport, later declared safe. CISF Director General O P Singh said the "suspect item has been declared safe and there is nothing to worry about."
