Recently, the Supreme Court urged the protesting doctors to resume their duties.

The court further directed the Kolkata Police officer to appear at the next hearing and reveal the exact time of the entry.

SC constituted 10-member National Task Force to make recommendations on prevention of violence for medical professionals

The case will be heard next on Thursday (August 22).

The top court has directed the National Task Force to submit an interim report within 3 weeks and the final report within two months.

The report further stated that the cause of death was manual strangulation due to smothering.

OPD services in Punjab have also been suspended as the doctors have gone on strike.

On August 8, the police found her body at an empty plot in Uttar Pradesh’s Bilaspur.
