This summit represents a significant milestone, with India’s High Commissioner to Australia, Nagesh Singh, highlighting that Modi’s third visit in a decade reflects the rapid, diverse growth in engagement. Since being elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2020, the alliance has expanded into clean energy, education, skilling, and mobility, cementing a wide-ranging, modern partnership.

Beyond formal state talks with Albanese and Governor-General Sam Mostyn, the agenda prioritizes economic and human connections. The Prime Minister will headline the India-Australia CEOs Forum, engaging directly with top business leaders to drive investment, while also connecting with the vibrant Indian diaspora at a major community event in Melbourne.

This visit, complemented by cultural observances from the local Indian community, reinforces the strategic and social ties that now anchor this evolving global partnership.
