In a bizarre incident, a family was stunned to find multiple snake hatchlings in their water tank.

Uttrakhand: A family was left startled as they discovered multiple snake hatchlings inside their water tank during a routine checkup.

As per reports, the incident is  from Sarai Village of Uttarakhand's Haridwar, where a family noticed some unusual movement in the water tank; upon close inspection, they found dozens of snake hatchlings crawling inside the unit.

The family then reported the Incident to the forest department, which immediately started a rescue operation. An official informed that a total of 27 snake hecklings were discovered at the site.

One of the rescue officers said that the snakes were from the 'checkered keelback' species, which is one of the most common species of snakes in India. The species often take shelter in cool spaces such as water tanks.

Upon discovering the matter, many curious villagers gathered outside the family's house, who expressed  their shock and amusement.
