UP Competitive Exams Under AI Surveillance: Control Room Monitors Centres in Real Time
An integrated control room has been set up at the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission headquarters for monitoring competitive examinations.
The monitoring arrangement includes more than two dozen high-resolution screens along with AI-enabled cameras installed at examination centres.
From the headquarters, all examination centres will be monitored in real time through the control room system.
Commission Chairman Prashant Kumar said the control room has been established at the headquarters for this purpose.
The system will be used to monitor activities at examination centres and identify irregularities, malpractice or use of unfair means during examinations.
Action will be taken in cases of irregularities, according to the commission.
Candidates have been advised to appear in examinations honestly and follow all rules and instructions issued by the commission.
They have also been advised not to believe rumours or misleading information circulating on social media during the examination period.
The commission said the initiative relates to transparency, integrity and fairness in competitive examinations.
Monitoring of examination centres will be carried out from the headquarters using the control room system.
The system will be used for supervision of competitive examinations in Uttar Pradesh.
