According to a medical update, his blood pressure has dropped to a critical 88/59, with further complications arising from persistent vomiting and dehydration. Reports indicate that he has not consumed water since the previous evening, leaving his pulse weak and his immunity critically compromised.

As the countdown to the Punjab Bandh on December 30 continues, representatives from trade, cultural, social, and religious organizations, along with members of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Majdoor Morcha, held a meeting today to consolidate their support for the event.

A district-level meeting to finalize preparations for the bandh is set to take place on Friday, involving various organizations and stakeholders.

In solidarity with Dallewal’s hunger strike, symbolic protests and hunger strikes were observed nationwide today. Demonstrators gathered at district and tehsil levels between 10 AM and 4 PM, amplifying calls for authorities to heed the demands of the farming community.

The ongoing agitation at the Shambhu border, now in its 371st day, reflects farmers’ persistent demand for a guaranteed Minimum Support Price (MSP) on all crops and other associated grievances. As support for Dallewal intensifies, pressure mounts on the government to engage with the protestors and address their issues.
