The kabaddi world has been plunged into mourning with the death of Gurpreet Singh Gopi Dhoorkot, an international kabaddi player and coach from the village of Dhoorkot Ransih in Moga district.
According to information, Gopi Dhoorkot had been ill for some time and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ludhiana, where he breathed his last today.
Gopi Dhoorkot established his reputation in the sport across several countries, including Canada, England, and the United States. Sports lovers and the kabaddi community are expressing deep sorrow over his passing. His last rites will be performed at his ancestral village, Dhoorkot Ransih.
