Preliminary questioning has confirmed the module's involvement in the Shambhu railway track blast and the Sirhind railway explosion.

Punjab Police have achieved a significant breakthrough in national security by dismantling a terror module linked to multiple explosions across the state. In a joint operation, the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar, Patiala Police, and CI Pathankot apprehended Gurjinder Singh, also known as Beant. Investigators identify him as a key associate of Jagroop Singh, the primary executor behind recent high-profile attacks.

This arrest has effectively solved three major terror-related incidents that had triggered widespread security concerns. Furthermore, the group has been linked to a grenade attack targeting the CIA office in Moga.

The investigation indicates that these operations were carried out under the explicit instructions of handlers based abroad.
