The current six-day tour, which began on June 13, is his 24th foreign visit of his third term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s current diplomatic mission to France and the Slovak Republic has reached a historic milestone, marking his 100th overseas trip since taking office in 2014. This significant achievement underscores India’s sustained global engagement and the Prime Minister’s dedicated approach to building robust international partnerships across multiple continents.


Throughout his tenure, the Prime Minister has navigated three distinct terms with consistent foreign policy goals. Since assuming the office on May 26, 2014, he has successfully fostered relationships across 78 countries, prioritizing economic growth, strategic defense cooperation, and cultural connectivity to elevate India's standing on the global stage.

The current six-day tour, which began on June 13, is his 24th foreign visit of his third term. The itinerary includes an official state visit to Slovakia and participation in the G7 Summit in Evian, France, where he is actively engaging with world leaders to discuss global economic stability and sustainable development alongside key bilateral strategic dialogues.


In his previous terms, the Prime Minister maintained a high frequency of international outreach. During his first term, he completed a total of 49 foreign trips, beginning with a visit to Bhutan. His second term followed with 27 international tours, launching with a key visit to the Maldives and Sri Lanka in 2019.


This milestone visit concludes on June 18 in Paris, where he will attend the VivaTech Summit. The trip highlights a continued focus on technological innovation and reinforces India's role as a vital voice for the Global South in major international forums.
