Air India flight that took off from Kannur for Jeddah with 180 total passengers had to return mid-air due to a technical snag
Kerala: An Air India Jeddah-bound flight that took off from Kannur had to return just after two hours of its departure because of an engine-related technical difficulty.
The flight carried 180 passengers and took off from Kannur on Tuesday at 7:30 am; however, within two hours of flying, the pilot realised the engine warning light was signaling a technical snag and decided to return as a precaution.
“The flight landed safely in Kannur. We will know what the problem is hereafter,” the sources said.
