New Delhi stressed that the expanding geopolitical conflict heavily threatens the global economy.

India on Monday expressed utmost concern over the dramatic escalation of hostilities in West Asia, urging all warring factions to immediately halt cross-border violence. New Delhi officially called for a swift, diplomatic conclusion to ongoing regional negotiations to restore long-term peace and stability.

The dangerous spiral peaked when Tehran launched multiple waves of heavy projectile and missile salvos targeting northern Israeli installations. In immediate retaliation, Israel breached the fragile April ceasefire by executing aggressive air raids against western and central Iranian territories, including a strategic petrochemical complex.

In response to the volatile crossfire, United States President Donald Trump issued an urgent ultimatum on social media, demanding both nations immediately stop shooting. The Trump administration is pushing for an immediate ceasefire, aggressively trying to preserve international mediation frameworks before truces collapse entirely.

Ultimately, New Delhi stressed that the expanding geopolitical conflict heavily threatens the global economy by destabilizing sensitive maritime trade routes. Continued kinetic actions risk triggering severe energy supply shocks and volatile fuel price spikes, severely penalizing developing economies reliant on stable international resources.
