State president Rajiv Bindal releases list of office-bearers, says appointments will strengthen organisational coordination.
District incharges and co-incharges were appointed by the BJP's Himachal Pradesh unit on Thursday for each of the state's 17 organizational districts. Rajiv Bindal, the state president of the BJP, announced the list and stated that the district incharges and co-incharges would be essential in enhancing organizational coordination, guaranteeing the successful execution of party programs, and extending the BJP's reach down to the booth level throughout Himachal Pradesh. Former state spokesperson Chetan Bragta has been named state in charge of the BJP Social Media and IT Department, according to the list released by the state office.
According to a release, Rajya Sabha MP and state general secretary Sikander Kumar has been appointed in charge for Mahasu, former MP Suresh Chandel has been appointed in charge for Nurpur, and former Speaker, state vice president, and MLA Vipin Parmar has been appointed in charge for Chamba. MLA Bikram Thakur has been named in charge for Kangra; state vice president and former MLA Rajesh Thakur for Dehra; state convenor of the Panchayati Raj Cell Vinod Thakur for Palampur; and former state president of the Scheduled Caste Morcha Nitin Kumar for Lahaul-Spiti. State vice president Bihari Lal Sharma of Kullu, state secretary Tilak Raj Sharma of Sundernagar, state secretary Amit Thakur of Hamirpur, state secretary Shishu Dharma of Una, and former minister Suresh Bhardwaj would be in charge of Mandi.
State secretary Sanjay Thakur of Sirmaur, state secretary Sumeet Sharma of Shimla, state spokesperson Ajay Rana of Kinnaur, state vice president Rashmidhar Sood of Bilaspur, and state co-convenor of cells Rajpal Singh of Solan were selected. BJP state chief Bindal congratulated each newly appointed office-bearer and expressed confidence that they will carry out their duties with diligence, self-control, and devotion to the party's principles.Although there are 12 districts in the state, the BJP uses 17 "organizational districts" to conduct its operations.
