Himachal Pradesh Co-Incharge lauds Vikas Nocha's team for community initiative ahead of August 15
Chandigarh: Senior BJP leader and Himachal Pradesh Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon on Sunday inaugurated a special Independence Day camp in the Industrial Area, Phase II, urging residents to use the occasion to renew their dedication to the country and work towards a stronger, self-reliant India.
Speaking at the event, Tandon said Independence Day serves as both a celebration and a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. He noted that the day gives every citizen a chance to reflect on their duties toward the nation, and said the underlying spirit of patriotism ought to motivate people to engage in community service and contribute meaningfully to national progress.
The camp was set up at Maruti Car Clinic in Industrial Area Phase-II as part of a week-long series of Independence Day events. As part of the initiative, organisers are offering special benefits to members of the local community during the celebration period.
During the inauguration, Tandon praised Vikas Nocha, Chairman and Managing Director of Car Clinic, along with his team, for putting together the initiative. He commended their continued focus on customer service and commitment to excellence.
The event was also attended by Shantanu, Regional Service Manager at Maruti Suzuki, and Keshav, both of whom Tandon welcomed and wished well. He concluded his remarks by extending Independence Day greetings to the people of Chandigarh and the nation at large.
