Blinkit Launches India’s First In-Terminal Quick Delivery at Mumbai Airport
Adani Airport Holdings has partnered with Blinkit to introduce India’s first in-terminal quick commerce service at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The service was launched on Wednesday and is currently operational in the domestic departure area of Terminal 2.
Through this service, passengers can order items via the Blinkit app, which will be delivered directly to their location within the airport. Delivery points include boarding gates, lounges, food courts, and select designated spots. The facility covers travel essentials, electronic gadgets, food and beverages, books, childcare products, and other personal items.
A spokesperson from Adani Airport Holdings said the app-based service will allow travelers to utilize their time more efficiently while enhancing overall service standards. The initiative is aimed at making airports more responsive and passenger-centric.
In line with security regulations, liquids such as packaged water and cold beverages will be supplied only from approved storage within the airport.
For Blinkit, the move represents an effort to extend its quick commerce services to a busy location with high consumer demand. It also provides an opportunity to expand online reach and connect with new customers in a highly dynamic environment.
