Bihar Court Reserves Order on Khan Sir's Bail Plea in Coaching Institute Firing Case

Verdict on Khan Sir's bail plea in security guards' firing case reserved till July 10

A Bihar court reserved its verdict on Wednesday on the anticipatory bail petition of well-known teacher Faisal Khan, popularly known as "Khan Sir," after completing the hearing. The court will announce its decision in the case on Friday. The case is linked to a shooting incident that took place in early June, in which Khan Sir's security personnel allegedly opened fire after his coaching institute was vandalized. Murari Tiwari, the lawyer representing Khan Sir, told reporters, "After hearing arguments from both sides today, the court has reserved its verdict in the case until July 10."

He said that under the court's earlier orders, the interim relief granted to Khan Sir would continue until the court's verdict is delivered. Under this interim relief, no punitive action will be taken against him.Tiwari said that besides Khan Sir's anticipatory bail petition, the court also heard the regular bail petition of his security personnel and the anticipatory bail petitions of three other employees of the coaching institute.

He claimed that Khan Sir had no direct connection to the shooting incident. According to him, the incident was a case of "self-defence," and Khan Sir had cooperated with the police at every stage of the investigation.
