Vijay-starrer 'Jana Nayagan' poster unveiled by KVN Productions; film to release in theatres on July 24, 2026

A poster for the eagerly anticipated movie "Jana Nayagan" was unveiled on Saturday by KVN Productions, the company financing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay.

"See you soon in theatres, nanba & nanbis (male, female friends)," the production company wrote in a post on X, adding that the movie has received an "A" censor certificate.

The movie, which was made by renowned director H Vinoth, is anticipated to hit theaters on July 24, 2026, following a protracted legal struggle with certifying authorities, purportedly related to some of the movie's material.

Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, and Narain are among the well-known ensemble cast members of the movie.

Although the producers have neither confirmed nor denied it, "Jana Nayagan" is rumored to be based on Anil Ravipudi's "Bhagavanth Kesari."

Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack, Sathyan Sooryan handled the cinematography, while Pradeep E. Ragav handled the editing.

The movie will probably be shown in roughly 1,000 theaters in Tamil Nadu, according to a source from the Tamil Nadu Film Distributors' Association.

Vinoth is well-known for pieces like "Nerkonda Paarvai" and "Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru."
