Dhami says Rajoana has also urged that Jagtar Singh Hawara be granted parole

Patiala: Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargajj and Harjinder Singh met Balwant Singh Rajoana at Patiala Central Jail. After the meeting, committee president Harjinder Singh Dhami said that Rajoana has said he has written a letter to PM Modi asking for a decision on his case. He said that whatever decision the Central government or the Supreme Court has to take, it should be taken soon. Dhami said Rajoana has also said that Jagtar Singh Hawara should be granted parole.

Meanwhile, Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj said that when Saudha Sadh (Gurmeet Ram Rahim) asks for parole, it is granted in a minute, but Jagtar Singh Hawara is not granted parole to meet his ailing mother. He asked why the law is different for Sikhs. He said the sacrifices of Sikhs are being forgotten.
