The first poster for the Sourav Ganguly biopic "Dada -The Sourav Ganguly Story," starring Rajkummar Rao, was released on Wednesday. It features the cricketer's famous jersey-waving moment from the Lord's balcony. In honor of Ganguly's 54th birthday on Wednesday, the film's poster was created. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on May 14.

On the former captain's birthday, the creators of Dada: The Sourav Ganguly Story revealed Rajkummar Rao's first appearance as Sourav Ganguly. The poster highlights the film's emphasis on Ganguly's influence on Indian cricket by recreating his Lord's balcony celebration. The Sourav Ganguly Story," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, is all set to hit theatres worldwide on May 14, 2027, timed with an extended holiday weekend to draw in both cinema lovers and cricket enthusiasts. The much-awaited biographical drama brings to life the story of one of Indian cricket's most successful captains. 

The film is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under Luv Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, T-Series and DBL.
