India eye on Twenty 20 series win on Guwahati's T20 debut

India's eye will be on the series win when they will meet Australia in their second T20 match. The match will be held in Guwahati which will be first international T20 debut for the city. Australia has won just a single match on their tour to India and are struggling for the confidence. With Smith getting injured due to shoulder injury Maxwell is also out of the form.

India's having home advantage may be diminished slightly at the new Barsapara Stadium in the country's north-east. The venue's international debut may start both teams on a slightly even keel with regards to familiarity with on-field conditions. It is no surprise that when the first T20I was further shortened to a six-over chase, Australia came closest to claiming an unlikely victory.

But India barely rode out of second gear on Saturday and still made their visitors look pedestrian. In Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar, Kuldeep and Chahal - the hosts have four very shrewd operators to get 16 overs out of. But Australia must believe they can still upset the apple-cart and keep the series alive, if they play the percentages well and milk the fifth bowler tactfully.

Australian team are fully dependent on their openers- David Warner and Aaron Finch while their middle order batsman including Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head are out of the form. So if the team has to win the second T20 which is going to be held in Guwahati all players has to perform equally well.

Australia have to regain some of the lost reputation, to prove they are still very much a force in the 20-overs format.
