PBKS vs MI Today, IPL 2025 Preview News: Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 69th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) on Monday, 26 May, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This match is crucial for both teams as they aim to secure a spot in the top two positions on the points table to qualify directly for the tournament final.

Punjab lost their previous match against Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets.

Led by Shreyas Iyer, Punjab has been one of the strongest teams this season, having qualified for the playoffs after 11 years. Their batting lineup, anchored by captain Iyer and powered by the impressive opening partnership between Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh, has been a key to their success.

In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Marco Jansen have taken charge during the middle overs, with significant contributions from Harpreet Brar. As a result, Punjab has a strong squad to challenge Mumbai, who have staged a remarkable comeback this season after winning only one of their first five matches.

Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians have been a resurgent team, with their key players back in form. The opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton has looked solid, while Suryakumar Yadav has been at his brilliant best this season.

In the pace attack, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, and Deepak Chahar form a formidable trio. In the spin department, Mitchell Santner and Karn Sharma have supported each other effectively. Both teams have their bases well covered, making it difficult for either side to dominate in one of the most important matches of the season.

With the race for the top spot intensifying, both MI and PBKS are expected to bring their A-game and leave no room for the other to gain an edge.
