JORDAN: Antim Panghal, the accomplished wrestler, has etched her name in the annals of history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to secure two consecutive under-20 world titles in the 53 kg category. Panghal's remarkable achievement adds another layer of glory to India's wrestling legacy on the global stage. Antim Panghal, hailing from Hisar, Haryana, has not only brought honor to her hometown but also to the entire nation. 

In an impressive display of skill and determination, Panghal emerged victorious in the 53 kg category, seizing the coveted title by defeating Maria Yefremova from Ukraine with a resounding score of 4-0. The triumph solidifies her status as a trailblazer in women's wrestling and an inspiration to aspiring athletes across the nation.

The accolades for India's wrestling prowess continued to pour in, with Savita securing the title in the 62 kg category. Additionally, the Indian women's team achieved a historic milestone by claiming the World Championship team title for the first time in the sport's history. Priya Malik's victory in the 76 kg category further underscored India's dominance in the global wrestling arena. With this achievement, India clinched an impressive tally of three gold medals in the tournament, reinforcing its reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the world of wrestling.
