MS Dhoni's IPL Journey Continues – Ready for His 18th Season at 43, latest news: Cricket legend MS Dhoni is all set to play his 18th edition of the IPL at the age of 43.

Former Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, speaking to ESPNcricinfo, shared insights into Dhoni's preparation for the tournament. Harbhajan recently met Dhoni at a wedding and was astonished by how fit he looked. When asked how he manages to stay in such great shape at 43—especially since Harbhajan himself is just a year older—Dhoni responded, “Yes, it's difficult, but this is the only thing I like doing. I find joy in it. I want to do it, go out and play.”

Harbhajan further revealed that Dhoni has been practicing batting in the nets for 2-3 hours a day in Chennai since joining the CSK camp. He also emphasized Dhoni's dedication, stating, “He is the first one to come to the ground and the last one to leave, even at this age. That’s the difference.”

Dhoni has been an integral part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) since the inception of the IPL. Ahead of the 2024 season, he stepped down as captain, handing over the reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad.

As the IPL 2025 season approaches, fans eagerly await Dhoni’s presence on the field.

Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020, but he continues to be a key player for CSK in the IPL.
