Good News for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Nitish Reddy Reddy to join Camp for IPL 2025

The National Cricket Academy (NCA) has cleared Nitish Kumar Reddy to join Sunrisers Hyderabad’s camp for the upcoming IPL season.
The talented young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is back from a side strain injury, which he suffered during a practice session in January 2025 in Chennai. He has fully recovered and successfully passed the Yo-Yo Test, a fitness test used to assess an athlete’s endurance and aerobic capacity.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test (Level 1) a mandatory fitness test for Indian cricketers.
According to a report published in Gulte, Reddy is set to join the Hyderabad camp tomorrow, March 16.
Nitish Kumar Reddy is a promising young Indian cricketer, born on May 26, 2003, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler, serving as a batting all-rounder.
Reddy made his T20 International (T20I) debut for India on October 6, 2024, against Bangladesh. At the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), he scored his maiden Test century, becoming the first Indian to achieve a century while batting at number eight in Australia.
