NEW-DELHI: India's pair of Divya Subbaraju Thadigol and Sarabjot Singh managed to perform brilliantly for the third time. They clinched the gold medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

On the second day of the competition, 55 teams topped the qualification round with a score of 581 and qualified for the gold medal competition. The Indian pair defeated the Serbian pair of Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikech 16-14.

Earlier, the Indian pair finished fifth in the two World Cups held in Cairo and Bhopal. This is Sarbjot's second gold medal in a row. He won the individual air pistol in Bhopal in March.
