Support farmers screams fan at Virat Kohli in T20 match between India and Australia
During the 2nd T20I between India and Australia, a fan could be seen shouting at Virat Kohli, asking him to support the farmers.
Almost now everyone is aware of the farmers who have reached the Delhi border to protest the farm laws. In fact, news of the protests has spread across the oceans and even foreign politicians are coming out in support of the farmers.
Well, the protests' impact could be felt all the way in Australia. During the 2nd T20I between India and Australia, a fan could be seen shouting at Virat Kohli, asking him to support the farmers.
"Support India's farmers you piece of toilet paper," she can be heard saying on the video. "Kisan ekta zindabad," (Long live farmer unity) she goes on to say.
It was not clear if Kohli heard her, but he would have been aware of what is going on in the capital.
Meanwhile, several sportspersons have come out in support of the farmers. Punjab's boxing legends Jaipal Singh, Kaur Singh, and Gurbax Singh Sandhu have opted to return their awards. Olympic medallist Vijender Singh also has threatened to return his Khel Ratna if their demands are not met.
