India’s victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final against New Zealand not only created history on the field but also set a major digital viewership record on JioHotstar. According to available data, the live streaming of the final witnessed an unprecedented surge in viewership, with 74.5 crore people watching simultaneously when New Zealand’s final wicket fell during the match.
India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, securing the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title for the third time and registering a second consecutive triumph in the tournament. The thrilling contest attracted massive attention from cricket fans across the country and around the world.
