Deaths of Punjabi Youth Abroad News: The Rising trend of Punjabi youth migrating to foreign countries for better opportunities has taken a somber turn, with a surge in untimely deaths becoming a matter of grave concern. Recent incidents in Canada and the United States have brought attention to the challenges faced by the expatriate Punjabi community.

Heartbreaking Loss in Canada:

Sukhdev Sharma, alias Sukha Thigli, a 28-year-old resident of Thigli village in Kapurthala, who had moved to Canada after marrying last year, passed away suddenly. The tragic news has left the family devastated. Sukhdev, the son of Sarpanch Kulwant Rai Bhalla and nephew of Numdar Labh Chand, Joint Secretary of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, had been residing in Canada with his wife.

Road Accident Claims Life in the US:

In another unfortunate incident, a Punjabi youth named Mani Saran lost his life in a road accident in the United States. Mani Saran, the son of Pargat Singh Saran Gandhar, president of Gandhar village in Muktsar district and associated with Bharti Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur, met with a tragic accident, adding to the distressing series of overseas deaths.

The escalating number of deaths abroad has left parents in a state of deep distress. Many families find themselves grappling with the emotional and logistical challenges of bringing back the bodies of their loved ones from foreign countries.
