Gurdaspur: Punjabi Youth Jasnapreet Singh Arrested in California Accident Latest News: Jasnapreet Singh, a resident of Punjab, has been arrested in California, USA, following an accident that claimed three lives on Wednesday.
In the accident, Jasnapreet, who was driving a truck, collided with several vehicles, also causing injuries to several others. The U.S. police have claimed that Jasnapreet was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
After this incident, Jasnapreet’s family came forward. He hails from the village Purana Shala in Gurdaspur. His family and villagers have supported him, stating in the presence of the Gurdwara Sahib that Jasnapreet has been a devout Gursikh since childhood and is a talented youth. They emphasized that his entire family is Gursikh and that he has never been involved with drugs. They claim that false allegations are being made against him.
Jasnapreet Singh’s father, Ravinder Singh, and the villagers said that this was merely an accident, something that could have happened to anyone. They expressed sorrow for the three victims of the accident, which included one woman and two children, and prayed for their souls.
However, they maintain that Jasnapreet has no connection with drugs and is being falsely accused. They have requested the Indian government to intervene in the matter and coordinate with the U.S. government and the California police administration to ensure a thorough investigation.
