MACHHIWARA SAHIB: In a sorrowful turn of events, Arundeep Singh, a 27-year-old resident of Jhungi village in Machhiwara Sahib block, met an untimely demise due to a poisonous animal bite while working in the fields of Greece. Arundeep, who had ventured to Greece in search of better opportunities, tragically lost his life in a fatal encounter with the venomous creature.

Arundeep Singh, the sole son of his parents, had set out for Greece with aspirations to secure a livelihood and support his family back home. However, fate dealt a cruel blow as he fell victim to a venomous animal's bite while diligently working in the Greek fields. The tragic incident not only shattered the dreams of the young lad but left a permanent scar of grief and loss within the hearts of his family and community.

Upon the arrival of Arundeep Singh's lifeless body in the village, an aura of profound sorrow enveloped the community. Grief-stricken parents could not contain their anguish, their tears mirroring the depth of their loss. Meanwhile, his sister, heartbroken but composed, bid her last farewell to her beloved brother, adorning his head with utmost reverence and love. In a somber ceremony, the village paid their final respects to Arundeep Singh as he was laid to rest in the village cemetery.
