'Flip Flop Card' Lost Its Spark!

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and the recently held Jalandhar Bye Elections 2024 proved that the 'flip flop card' in the political fraternity seemed to have not worked. Earlier, a party used to strengthen itself by bringing political leaders from other parties.  This seemed to have worked in the past but now it seems the people have become aware of these tactics and giving it back to those who who practice this exercise.

Jalandhar's seat is a clear example of the same. Sushil Kumar Rinku joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and bid due to the Aam Aadmi Party before the Lok Sabha elections, to bring strength to the saffron party. Sushil Kumar Rinku was not alone, he was joined by Sheetal Angural. The common thing between the two of them was that both of them were sitting MP and MLA, respectively.

What made them change the party is still a question that remains unanswered but some believe that agencies feared that both of them switched parties. In the past, the flip-flop card had worked, however, it didn't work this time. The, then, sitting MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and the, then, sitting MLA Sheetal Angural, switched sides, and thought they could bring a change to the Bharatiya Janata Party, however, the power of the card seemed to have failed.

The results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and the Jalandhar bhai elections 2024 proved that the flip-flop card has lost its faith and now people are bestowing their faith on those who are working for them. The results have clearly stated that the people are more interested in the political leaders and not the party.

Besides, this has come as a lesson to those who still believe that flip-flop cards might work because this is high time that parties work for the people and impress them with their hard work and the welfare of people.
