Israel-Palestine War News: Rozana Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral post misleading
Israel-Palestine War Latest News: Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine, a video is going viral on social media in which white sheets can be seen spread over people and people are pretending to be dead. By sharing the video, it is being claimed that these are Hamas fighters who are staging a death drama to defame Israel.
Facebook user "Sapan Singh" while sharing the viral video wrote, "Aljazeera has done amazing shooting, even the dead body of Hamas is itching due to the heat of the camera...!"
Rozana Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral post misleading. This video is not recent but from 2013 when a symbolic demonstration took place in Egypt. The viral video has nothing to do with the recent Israeli-Palestinian war.

Starting the investigation, we first extracted the keyframes of the video and did a Google reverse image search with the help of keyword search. We found this video uploaded on YouTube in 2013. On October 28, 2013, an account named ????? ??????? uploaded this video with caption written in Arabic, "??? ????? ????????? ?? ????? ??????" English translation (Symbolic display) A representation of dead bodies inside Al-Azhar University.
The title and description of the video were written in Arabic. English translation of the description; "Dozens of Muslim Brotherhood students, at Al-Azhar University, organized a massive demonstration in front of the college administration building, and Brotherhood students at Al-Azhar University joined the girls’ and boys’ marches side by side, in one march, meeting between the Faculty of Medicine and Engineering building next to the Al-Azhar University presidency building, after touring around The university campus to mobilize students and disrupt studies, as the marches headed to the College of Engineering."
According to this, this video is of a symbolic demonstration of students at Al Azhar University. Al Azhar University is located in Egypt.
Hence, it is clear that this video has nothing to do with Hamas fighters.
