US Podcaster sets a Guinness World Record by conducting 37 hours of interviews

Rob Oliver, an American podcaster, has set a Guinness World Record by interviewing 137 people continuously for 37 hours, 44 minutes and 17 seconds. Oliver was paralyzed from the lower part of the body after a road accident in 1993.

In 2021, he launched a podcast on healthcare with the aim of discussing the strengths and weaknesses of the healthcare system with medical professionals and patients. During the interview, he interacted with doctors and patients from Australia, New Zealand, India and Scotland. A break of five minutes was allowed every hour during the interview. He broke the previous Guinness World Record of eight hours.
