Indonesia Bus accident:  A tragic bus accident in Indonesia’s Java Island has left at least 15 people dead early on Monday, according to reports which cite local officials. 

The incident reportedly occurred shortly after midnight when an inter-provincial passenger bus rammed into a concrete barrier and overturned. 

The bus was carrying 34 passengers at the time of the accident and was travelling from Jakarta to Yogyakarta when it overturned while entering a curved exit ramp on the Krapyak tollway in Semarang city, Central Java.

Police and rescue teams arrived at the site around 40 minutes after the accident. Six bodies were recovered from the spot, while nine others died on the way to a hospital and during treatment.

Meanwhile, 18 passengers are undergoing treatment at two hospitals. Five of them are in critical condition, while 13 others are reported to be in serious condition.
