Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral video to be misleading

MOHALI: A Video of a baby stuck in debris is going viral on social media, claiming that this video is related to the Israel-Hamas war. Lots of users are sharing this video claiming it to be from Palestine.

Users of different languages are making this video viral. Some such posts can be seen by clicking here and here.

Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral video to be misleading. This viral video is related to the earthquake incident in Syria in February. It has nothing to do with the recent Israeli-Palestinian war.

Starting the investigation, we first watched this video carefully and extracted the keyframes of the video and performed reverse image search on them.

Viral video is old

We found this video uploaded in a tweet dated February 2023. Syria's official civil defense account The White Helmets shared this video on February 11, 2023 and captioned it, "Her baby sister sacrificed herself... Incredible moments to save a baby alive who was in the lap of her sister. The city of Jandiris in the countryside of Afrin, north of #Aleppo, at dawn on Monday, Feb 6, after the violent #earthquake that hit northwestern regions of #Syria." 

According to available information, this matter is from Syria where Civil Defence Team saved a baby girl stuck in the debris.

Hence, it is clear that this video is not related to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.
