Australian Police Released Photos of Six Accused in January 29 Violence Incident 

VICTORIA: Australia's Victoria Police has released pictures of 6 Khalistan supporters who committed violence during the 'Khalistan Referendum event' on January 29. "During the fight, several people used a flag pole as a weapon, injuring several people... One group even burnt an Indian flag," police said. According to the police, several people were seriously injured in the incident.

The Melbourne East Neighborhood Policing Team has appealed to the people for public assistance. Two persons were arrested on the same day and investigation is ongoing to identify the remaining persons, police said.

Investigators have released images of six people. Police have issued a 1800 333 000 number and an email www.crimestoppersvic.com.au to share information related to the accused. The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese said that such attacks will not be tolerated in the country.
