Jalandhar youth, missing in London, found dead

Punjab's Jalandhar youth Gurashman Singh Bhatia Death News: In a shocking incident, an Indian student, Gurashman Singh Bhatia, who was missing in London, has been found dead. According to information, he was studying at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. 

Reportedly, he was missing since December 15 in East London.

Notably. the youth belonged to Model Town in Punjab's Jalandhar. The family, was worried about him, and had left for London. However, he has been found dead. 

It has also been reported that Gurashman Singh Bhatia was last seen in Canary Wharf, East London, according to Sirsa, who urged Loughborough University and the Indian High Commission to find him.

In the meanwhile, the officials had also issued numbers to deliver any information about his whereabouts. 

It is pertinent to mention that Gurashman Singh Bhatia was issued a two-year UK residence permit, valid until June 2, 2024.

He was studying in Loughborough University which is located in Leicestershire, England. It has over 18,000 international students from over 130 countries. 

It may be recalled that  the BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, had tweeted on X, appealing External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for intervention.
